Why does my Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve feel slightly too loose/snug?
The initial fit of the Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve is dependent on several important factors. The most significant of those are whether the arm has increased or reduced in size since the time the measurements were taken, and also how the therapist took the measurements. Although we have done our best to communicate proper measuring techniques, each therapist has their own method that can sometimes affect the fit of the Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve.
If my Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve doesn’t fit as I would like, what can I do?

Do I need to wear the elbow band?
The elbow band is optional. It is included with every Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve and many patients prefer to wear it in order to prevent additional swelling in the elbow crease, however it can restrict mobility. The natural movement and bending of the arm during daily activity creates additional pressure in this area which should prevent swelling, so if additional mobility is desired, simply detach the elbow band and store it until additional compression is desired.
Is the Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve for day or night wear?
The Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve has been designed for day time use, however due to its inelastic properties it can be used as a night time garment as well.
What is the Comfort CoverUp™ for?
The cover up can be used to give the Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve a sleek and refined look as well as help to protect the sleeve from extra wear and tear, helps keep the bands attached in their proper position, as well as protect clothing and skin from being scratched damaged by the hook tabs. The Cover-Up can be purchased in three different colors; black, beige and pink.
Why is the Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve the perfect alternative to elastic compression sleeves?
Elastic compression sleeves are notorious for being hard to put on and difficult to work with. In addition, they tend to stretch out and their effectiveness is often limited. In response we have come up with a design that is easier to apply, more comfortable, and it’s adjustable bands ensures that effective compression levels can be achieved time after time.
Can the Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve be made without the thin elastic portion?
Yes. The Juxta-Fit™ Armsleeve can be ordered as an open design if the patient has a caregiver or assistance for applying the sleeve. Some caregivers find it easier to apply the sleeve without the thinner elastic portion. If this is the case, and the patient will not need to don the sleeve by themselves, then simply let us know when ordering and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
Why are theJuxta-Fit™ Gauntlet & Juxta-Fit™ Glove sold separately?
The Juxta-Fit™ Gauntlet and Juxta-Fit™ Glove are sold separately to accommodate those with active life styles. Many people find compression on the hand to be too restrictive for daily activities and being able to easily remove the hand piece is a valuable asset. By selling these separately, people can choose the specific pieces that meet their compression needs.
What portion of the hand does theJuxta-Fit™ Gauntlet cover?
The Juxta-Fit™ Gauntlet is designed to cover from the base of the fingers (not including the fingers) to the wrist, and targets the back portion of the hand which is most commonly swollen. The bands can also be angled to target specific areas on the hand if any trouble areas are present and additional compression is needed.
What portion of the hand does the Juxta-Fit™ Glove cover?
The Juxta-Fit™ Glove is designed to cover from the wrist extending to the second knuckle of each finger and thumb.
