A pilot study was conducted in July of 2011 by Dr. Mauriello at the Cardiovascular and Vein Center of Florida to determine the suitability of the Comfort Capri™ as a compression device following great saphenous vein (GSV) ablation procedures. This small study suggest a strong trend towards patients preferring the Comfort Capri™ for compression therapy instead of thigh-high elastic compression stockings after GSV ablation treatment.
